SHOP UPDATES

• 02.21.2010 || Tomorrow, Monday the 22nd, is Emily's last day... : (  Please come by and wish her a farewell if you can.  We will miss her lots..  But, who knows, perhaps she will be back some day. : )

• 01.29.2010 || I had the photos of the progression with our new shop posted on my Facebook (the iPhone makes it easy to post photos, yay), and I was supposed to post it onto our website, but kept getting sidetracked.  So, I'm just going to share the link with you all so you can just go straight to the album!  Check it out here!

• 01.21.2010 || To avoid any confusion: Yes, we are open and now located in Koloa. : )  We are no longer in Hanapepe. : (  Check out contact page for more info on our location and number.. Or read through the gaggle of words in the update right below.

• 01.07.2010 || GREAT news!! We will be open to the public this Saturday, the 9th!!  We thank everyone for their patience with everythng..  We now open at 9am, close at 9pm, and we are located at 5330 Koloa Road. (or, the red building right behind the gas station. ;)  Our new # is 808-742-8888.
  As far as a grand opening goes: unfortunately, we are currently not fully in the condition we would like to formally present it to you all, but we should have plans for that next month!
  **Edit** we'll be opening our doors at 12pm this Saturday.

• 01.01.2010 || Happy New Year! 
  Okay, so I lied... We need to wait for a few things, one of them being really important, so we can't open yet. : (  We are shooting/hoping for the next week, though.. We will post as soon as we find out when we can open.  Hang tight!  Our new # there will be 808-742-8888, and should be operating in a few days.

• 11.08.2009 || Big news!  We have been planning and hoping for this for a while now, but it's because of you guys and your continuing support that we are now able to!  Thank you!  Some of you already know about it.  For everyone else: what am I yapping about?  Well, come the beginning of January, we will be in our new location, Old Koloa Town!!  We are lucky to have people from all over the island come & see us, so, soon we will be in a much more central location (and new shop hours will be 9am - 9pm, 7 days a week!).  It was great being on the west side -- we will miss seeing all the familiar friendly faces and ono grinds. We hope you all will come and visit us on the south side!

• 11.01.2009 || A new month has begun..!  We hope you all had a nice Hallows Eve, and congrats to the three lucky winners of the Farsyde Tattoo certificates at the Halloween party at Cafe Portofino! (Btw, if you're a winner, just because I wrote a non-existant date as the expiration doesn't mean that it doesn't expire.. : p)

• 10.28.2009 || Halloween is near!  And what better thing to do than get dressed up for a Halloween contest and win some cool prizes, among which are gift certificates for tattoos or piercings at Farsyde!

  FreQ Nasty has played at various large events and festivals, including Burning Man. So why sit on your couch when you can grab a few friends, listen to some good music and have a blast with us! Hope to see you all there!

• 10.05.2009 || Our buy 1 get 1 free piercing promo is no more, but thank you to everyone who came out to take advantage of such a rare event!  Julian went back to California knowing that his trip was successful in providing me with his knowledge and expertise as a professional piercer.

• 08.18.2009 || Welcome new tattoo artist, Emily!  Stop by, get your tattoo, bring her cookies. We like cookies--I mean, she likes cookies.. Chocolate chip cookies. Mmm..

• 07.26.2009 || Beau is coming back home tomorrow! After his 10-year-long trip around the universe. Or was it the west coast..? I can't remember. Anyway, he'll be back at the shop on the 28th. : )

• 07.14.2009 || We will be here this Saturday, the 18th, closed Sunday, then back on Monday the 20th. We will then be closed on Friday & Saturday, the 24th & 25th (but will be here on Sunday and Monday, the 26th & 27th).. And then Beau will be back! So from that point on, we will be open 7 days a week. If that didn't confuse you, go watch the new Street Fighter/Chun Li movie.

          On another note, if you plan on getting a tattoo: please, please, PLEASE try
to call in advance and make an appointment. We are currently not able to 
take walk-ins or last minute appointments. It doesn't hurt to try, but just 
warning ya.. Right now, Jarod is the only artist in the shop (until Beau 
gets back at the end of the month. Thank you for coming out, Arthur!) and 
is completely booked out a month... And we hate having to turn people 
away. Mahalo!

• 07.10.2009 || Firstly, we will be here on Monday, the 13th.

           Piercings... We have had a LOT of people inquire about getting pierced lately. 
Unfortunately, we won't have a piercer in house until September... I know we
told a lot of you to check back with us in August, but now it won't be 'til
September that the talented Julian Ganesha will be here to do some
piercings and mentor Kelsy as a piercer! Sorry about the change in plans, but
thanks for the patience.

Who's this Julian character? Then you must have missed him the last time he 
was here.  He's an awesome professional piercer from California who has
put thousands of holes in people for 15 years. W3rd.

• 07.02.2009 || Farsyde will be CLOSED on Saturday, July 4th! Have a great holiday weekend! We'll be open again on Monday, the 6th.

• 06.30.2009 || The last day of the month! If some of you have noticed, our business hours have been a little skewed lately. Mostly on Sundays ad Mondays. I know we said we're open 7 days a week a few months ago, but things have been slightly inconsistent this month due to several reasons. HOWEVER, we are DEFINITELY here Tuesdays thru Saturdays (11am - sunset)... until further notice! If you are thinking about getting a tattoo on Sunday or Monday, at least call us and check to see if we'll be in on that day first.

• 06.25.2009 || Arthur Griffen-Noyes is back on the island and will be tattooing here 'til July 13th. 

          Pym is also back in the shop (since the 16th), but will only be here til 
Saturday, June 27th.

So... Come on in and get your ink!

Pym or Arthur.

• 06.17.2009 || Kaua'i says aloha to Samuel Shaw.

          Sam now resides in the Netherlands. (NeTHerland. Not Neverland. k?) 
Amsterdam to be exact. He'll be popping through again in about 6 months, 
though! More infoz as we get it.

• 06.04.2009 || Beau Williams will be in California until the end of July. Please call the shop if you would like to book an appointment with him when he returns. 

• 04.04.2009 || We are now open 7 DAYS A WEEK.  That's right, you can come in on Sundays AND Mondays.  ...Damn workhorses we are. 

• 07.14.2008 || Farsyde's new MySpace profile was created just a few days ago -- Jarod can have his own back now.  Find our page here..  Feel free to add us, mail us, friend us... And whatever else it is MySpace people do.
