Jarod Powell was born in California and raised on Kaua'i since he was 5 years old. At the age of 17 he decided tattooing was his path and started his apprenticeship. He moved to California for a few years, then returned back home on Kaua'i with 10 years of tattooing under his belt, and opened up Farsyde Tattoo in 2007.
Aside from tattooing, his other passions in life include photography, painting, and any other outlet for creativity.
